This forum is already so helpful!
Got a KOBO reader, and was just a bit daunted to discover 130 page instruction book that did not make any sense. Then I discovered this site, and in 10 minutes, uploaded my first book. Croptop, who ever you are...Many Thanks.

Try asking about how to operate a Kobo in the Kobo forums https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=223

Good to have your company, Joanne. You might find it a gift from the gods to download free Calibre Library software (http://www.calibre-ebook.com)). An ebook device and Calibre is a marriage made in heaven, as thousands here at MR and a million other users would agree. Happy Koboing and very best wishes. Neil
