How can i view .zim files

I have some wikis downloaded as zim files and i want to open them via koreader.
Can i open them directly or i have to convert them first? And to which format? Or dictionary format?

You can't open them directly but could convert them to StarDict dictionary format via PyGlossary (https://github.com/ilius/pyglossary).

Then copy the output files into the koreader/data/dict/ directory to load them as dictionaries.

(Note that I have never used PyGlossary myself so I don't know how smooth the conversion process is.)

If you share your OS and the error messages you've been getting, someone may be able to help you.
