Black Friday Deals - What Did You Get?

Well, the online Black Friday deals are now in progress.

I just ordered one each of the Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0 from Amazon for $189 and $229 respectively. Great deal. Best Buy will be selling these as a doorbuster tomorrow for the same prices. Problem is, you have to stand in line and get there today; if it's not too late.

One of these will be replacing my iPod touch 4, which I'll give to a family member. So adios Apple

It's more of a pre-BF deal, but I bought a Nook Touch for a relative at Target for $100 but I also got a $30 gift certificate, which works out to be half of what I paid for my Touch shortly after it came out.

I just ordered a "back-up" Kindle DXG for $259 - since Amazon no longer lists the DX on the main Kindle store page , or really anywhere prominent anymore, I'm afraid they are going to discontinue producing it. And I don't want to be without a large screen eInk ereader!

There's been nary a rumor on Amazon continuing with a large screen eInk device. Rumors instead suggest Amazon will drop the DX and instead focus on larger Fire tablets.

I bought two new bookcases from Target! With all the books I've donated lately, I'm not sure how I can possibly still need additional bookcases, but I do.

Also got a friend to pick up the 8gb Clip Zip at Costco for me.

Shouldn't I be buying gifts for other people, not for me? Oh well.

We bought the Harry Potter DVD Set 1-8 for $39.99 (was $48.99) with my free Prime I'll have it Tuesday for my birthday.

The individual movies are just $5 to $6 a piece in DVD.

Edit: Got 10 DVDs all popular movies for $50.

Good thing Prime only last a month or I'd be in trouble!

My birthday is the first week of November; and last year and this year my family has given me cash then to buy myself Christmas presents when the items are on sale and available.

I haven't pulled the trigger on a Black Friday item yet, but I have plans for a Cyber Monday sale I expect to occur this Monday.

I have a silly question why have there been no Ebook black friday sales? There have been some pbook ones and some reader discounts why not an Ebook Sale

Didn't need an ereader (if I did, I'd use the audible $100 credit to get one at Amazon), but my blu-ray player stopped working (I use a 3-yr old PS3 for movies, I suspect the laser went bad, although it seems it might be a problem with parts jumping track inside). Having Sony fix it would cost $200 - for that, bought a new PS3 w/ a couple of games.
