Can't get access to the web browser through calibre

Hello everyone,

after I reinstalled calibre I can't access the web browser through a link from calibre. I got the message that calibre can't find a browser. I knew that other programs have the possibility to set a default browser and I thought that at the beginning of the installation I was ask from calibre which browser I want to use. I don't know how to fix this or is it just a stupid user error from me?

Thank you

I suspect a firewall is blocking Calibre
Or
You are using a Proxy Server or some other (OS) 'Internet Options' setting is wrong.

@rethec - which links are not working - Identifier Links, Author Links or something else.

My experience is that Calibre uses the browser that is set as the default browser in the OS.

Oh God! I'm so stupid and I'm sorry for this stupid thread. I found my mistake and it had nothing to do with calibre, but with the wrong path to my chrome. I thought I fixed it yesterday, but I was wrong. Now it works perfectly fine.
Neverless thank you for your help!
