Book summary on Kobo ereader

Is it somehow possible to import books through Calibre on my ereader and also get the book summary imported. It would be handy if I good actually see like the back cover of the book on my Kobo ereader so I know what the book is about

Yes, of course. If you have the summary in the comments and metadata management set to automatic, the summary will be in the book details once the book has been sent to your Kobo.

How do I set the summary in the comments and metadata management to automatic? I don't seem to find that option anywhere.

Summary: Edit Metadata -> Comments (in Calibre)
Automatic Management: Preferences -> Sending books to devices -> Metadata management (also in Calibre)

Click on Edit Metadata individually.

OK, got the comments now and indeed I add them for every book, I've set the management to automatic, but the comments do not get sent to my Kobo Libra 2. Pity. Hope I can get it to work in the future

How are you sending the books? By connecting your Libra and using the Send to device icon in Calibre?

Comments should be displayed under Book Details on your Kobo.

Also, check the boxes for Update Metadata on the device and Update metadata on Book Details pages in the Kobo driver settings in Calibre (the third tab, Metadata, on device & advanced).

Most of the time, I do edit the summery as it contains review junk that I don't want. That's not what a summery is. It's not for reviews.

I only copy strictly the synopsis and leave everything else out. Titles get also shortened to strictly titles and no other junk.

I don't download metadata, as I would ditch most of it anyway. Copy/paste is faster for me. Any comments that are initially included with the book get deleted, as I can't be bothered to edit that trash.

I'm also not interested in having reviews in my Calibre database or in the ebook. I find it annoying when they are added to a cover. Often vacuous. I might then even look for an older cover, or even generate a plain one if the only cover is entirely plastered with stupid reviews.a

I also delete any praises, raves and reviews from within the book, no matter if they're about that book or something else. I don't want any.
