The Watcher - An occult horror thriller involving an inhuman villain
The Watcher is an occult horror thriller with plenty of chills and twists. The heroine is widowed, wheelchair-bound, and lives in a remote Connecticut farmhouse. The villain is sadistic, relentless, and not bound by time or space. What chance does the poor heroine have against such odds?
Brief synopsis: The horror was starting again. That is the opening line in this horror novel, a supernatural thriller about vengeance, love, and great courage. The story deals with mind links, thought transference, reincarnation and mindless obedience to a fanatical father's demonic will. Janet Stapleton lost the use of her legs in a mysterious car accident that killed her husband, Russ. For reasons she doesn't understand, her astral body is being called upon to witness a series of brutal slayings. Eric Siuda, a Manhattan police lieutenant, investigates the slayings and becomes romantically involved with Janet. Together they must sort out what is happening and manage, with Russ Stapleton's beyond-the-grave help, to thwart the villain, a man named Jim Dawson. Russ, who had a long and tortured history with Jim Dawson, recognized the evil in the man and is determined to destroy him even after death. Lacking the physical means to accomplish the deed, he draws an unwitting Janet into his nightmare scenario as intermediary. Jim Dawson, a psychopath dying of AIDS, seeks eternal life through reincarnation in his imbecilic son's body. The ebook is available on multiple sites, including Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0043GX1C6 Please take a look. It might be a book you find to your liking. Thank you. John Brinling, author |
