Read Kindle mail account via imap or pop?

Is it possible to read the mails of the Kindle mail account in a normal mail-client via imap or pop?

Your Kindle e-mail address is tied to your Amazon account username. It doesn't have a POP or IMAP login.

Any documents sent to your Kindle via your @free.kindle.com email address are forwarded to the email account which you use as your Amazon.com login, from which you can then download said attached document and transfer it to your Kindle via USB. Any documents sent to your @kindle.com email address will be sent to your Kindle wirelessly for a small fee, unless the fee adds to more than the maximum allowed amount you specified in your Amazon account, by which Amazon will treat the email the same as if it were sent to @free.kindle.com instead.
