Microsoft's ebook plans trashed by Mobipocket
"One of the largest publishing concerns in the world, a firm so ancient they've got a background in alchemy, is rumored to be converting all their scientific journals into the "read anywhere" Mobipocket .prc format, years after turning down a proposal from the Beast that they migrate everything to MS's .lit."
http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=9032 subheading of the article refers to "Elsevier" which is the publisher of the scientific journals written about in the above quote http://www.Elsevier.com |

Someone turned Microsoft down? I didn't think I would ever read that written anywhere after Intuit refused to be bought out and let Microsoft come to own Quicken.
Sounds good, but I think Palm Reader Pro is still going to be my market eBook reader of choice. It's very user-friendly, and there are a lot of popular titles available by now. Scott |
