Can footnote popup be edited?

Hello,
An epub I am formatting has both footnotes and endnotes. When I am in Kindle Previewer and I click the footnote reference the popup header says "Footnote" and the footer says "Go to footnotes" a separate page where all the footnotes live.

But the endnote popup also says "Footnote" and "Go to footnotes" though it correctly goes to the endnote page.

Is there anyway to edit this?

Kindle firmware is closed source. There might be some way to find the correct java file ans deobfuscate it, but the same string is probably used, since the kindle firmware likely doesn't distinguish end notes from footnotes.

In any case, there is probably no change you can make to the book to do what you want since it is all done in the firmware.
