Can some books be password protected?
Let's say you wanted to share a reader among adults and kids in a household. Is there any way to protect some of the content from being viewed by the kids? For example, by password protecting collections.

No, you can't password protect certain books. You can set a PIN for the whole device, but that is it.

For someone really, really motivated, I'm thinking you could create two scripts, one encrypts a directory, the other decrypts it (with the "key" asked by the scripts in a pop-up). These scripts can be run via Nickelmenu.
With the low capacity cpu, you probably have to have very few books at a time in the directory. Maybe not a practical solution, but something to ponder about... |
