Newbie Question
So I am new to the world of ereaders. We now have a Nook and a Kindle. I read that you can put library books on a Kindle with Mobi, but you need a PID number. Where can I find this number on the Kindle?

Welcome to MobileRead, mrswilson.
You would need to run the kindlepid script on your computer, and know your kindle serial number. After that, you'd need to run kindlefix in order for your library ebooks to be read on the kindle......they'd still close at the end of the loan period, just like with the sony. Unfortunately we aren't allowed to post links any more, but perhaps some kind soul will pm you. Enjoy the forums. |
