I have rooted my nook to android. Is there any kind of a remote control to turn pages when I am reading? I would like to put it on a tripod and turn the pages without having to touch it.

I know it has bluetooth, but I tried to use it once and couldn't connect it to a device my phone had no problem connecting to. Even if you could get something to connect, nobody makes a device to turn pages. Sorry I don't have any ideas for you.

There are lots of Bluetooth remotes that have volume up/down buttons.
These can be used to turn pages if your e-reader program has a "Use volume buttons to turn pages" (or similar) option.

If not, there are remotes that say they have the ability to turn pages directly, like this one:
