Can calibre run a bash script when it's started?
Hi,
I'd like to be able to get Calibre to mount the volume where I store my calibre library, if it isn't mounted when I start Calibre. Can Calibre be persuaded to run a bash shell script of my choosing when it starts? Martin |

Better be the other way around: write a script that mounts your volume, then opens Calibre.

Override calibre by creating a script in ~/bin/ which does what you need then runs /usr/bin/calibre
It will then integrate into your desktop and everything. I use a similar script to always run calibre in debug mode and pipe the output to a logfile. |
