Many thanks. I've edited your last URL - it was missing the "dp" part of the URL.

They're also at Amazon US. Amazon US Two of them are $1.99 and the other $4.99 for some reason, and one is $8.99 which was a surprise.

There's a PRC (Mobi) version of 6.1 which should convert with a click or two to ePub in Calibre, granted it's not the final Tor print version.

Discounted in multiple venues for $1.99 + applicable taxes (price good in Canada & US as far as I can tell; Hachette's Orion division's Gateway imprint handles this in the UK and possibly other parts of the Commonwealth [their edition can also be gotten in Canada]) from Simon & Schuster's Touchstone imprint @ Kobo (not couponable in Canada), Google Play, Amazon, B&N, iTunes and probably anywhere else you wish to buy formerly Agency titles.

Time and Again by the late Jack Finney (ISFDB, Wikipedia), a World Fantasy Award Lifetime Achievement recipient who's probably best known for Invasion of the Body Snatchers. This is his classic time travel adventure with strong romantic elements novel originally out in 1970 and comes with all the illustrations and a new foreword by author Audrey Niffenegger of The Time Traveler's Wife fame.

Now with masterfully restored original artwork, lovers of time travel, romance, and adventure can rediscover Time and Again, the beloved classic hailed as “THE great time-travel story” by Stephen King, author of 11/22/63, and praised as a “pure New York fun” by Alice Hoffman, author of The Museum of Extraordinary Things.

When advertising artist Si Morley is recruited to join a covert government operation exploring the possibility of time travel, he jumps at the chance to leave his twentieth-century existence and step into New York City in January 1882. Aside from his thirst for experience, he has good reason to return to the past—his friend Kate has a curious, half-burned letter dated from that year, and he wants to trace the mystery.

But when Si begins to fall in love with a woman he meets in the past, he will be forced to choose between two worlds—forever.

Called “the great time-travel story” by Stephen King, Time and Again is admired for its rich, painstakingly researched descriptions of life in New York City more than a century ago, and for the swift adventure at its core. With newly digitized art, you will fall in love with this refreshed classic all over again.

Last edited by ATDrake; 10-07-2014 at 04:59 PM. Reason: Apparently he's only written a handful of sfnal works, but still got a Lifetime Achievement award. That's pretty impressive.

Thanks! I read this in hardcover in the early 70s, and it's one of the greats!

I read the PDF on a tablet a few weeks ago, and liked the book a lot. I guess he doesn't want to make it too easy when the book is also for sale.

The footnotes in the for-sale version are also really interesting.

Not the 10th anniversary edition (which has some extra stuff added), FYI, that's $5.22...
