I just received my unlock code from AT&T for my Windows phone and unlocked it without a problem.

Using Calibre and Bookviser, I now have a great $29 reader with WiFi internet. The Lumina uses Windows 8.1 and its 1280 x 720 screen is great for both e-books and video. Being unlocked, it could be used with different carriers.

Doesn't get much better than this.

Yesterday, Amazon added 3 colors to their lowest cost Fire and put it on sale for $39.95. The 32 Gig SD card is also on sale for $11.87. It does not say how long the sale will last.

My sister is buying one to add to my account so that she can access both my ebooks and audiobooks directly, as my account is already shared with another family member (you can only have 2). Then she'll stop stealing my Mom's Fire (used primarily for reading the local paper and watching Netflix).

The service has expanded quite a bit since first launching to now include 25 major metropolitan areas across the country. Best Buy Canada has the Lenovo Tab 2 A 10 tablet on sale for $249.99CDN until Friday. I picked mine up on the weekend, and I gotta say, I love this device. My only complaint is that when I put the brightness control all the way down, it's still a bit bright for in-the-dark reading.
