I have been using the find duplicate plugin for a while now. I've been able to clean up my library using the title/author selection no problem. I've run the binary compare a few times and have started working on the findings, but lately, when I run the binary compare, it just keeps on going in the background without ever reporting anything. I let it run for over an hour (previously it had finished in about 5 minutes) and had to abort it. Are there any working files that may have to be cleared if I crashed out? I o have a large library 200K+ books, but, that being said the binary compare has worked in the past. It's just after a power failure, that I can't seem to get it to complete now. Any advice would be appreciated.
Edit Update: I removed the one and only exemption that I had, and the duplicate binary compare did finish this time, so I have no idea what is going on. I always seem to have weird and bizarre problems that no one else ever has. Go figure. Still if anyone has any ideas of what might be going on, I would appreciate hearing guesses. Just checking in, I have kept using the plugin version that has the option to compare different metatada columns, not just tags, but I wanted to make sure I am not missing out on anything that would make a huge difference if I changed it over. I don't know why you removed the "advanced" options but I kept it.

I removed the advanced options because I don't want to support their implementation - they were a too niche, complicated use case. They were not added to the plugin by me and I have no intention of resurrecting them.
