Yes, I tried with numbers 6.67 - 11.33 (20 - 34 pixels) on Voyage with new Bookerly font and firmware 5.6.5. No problem at all. Even the smallest size is well readable for me.

@tono1020: Could you try reading a sample from this book using the smallest font and tell me if your Kindle craches/exits to Home (displays some error message, and you can't open/read that book anymore until you open another book, change font size to 5th or 6th Aa menu value) after trying to go to the next page after that first one at the start of each chapter.
It's not that books fault ie there is nothing wrong with CSS & XHTML code, the same thing happens on my PW when I read same type of book. That is the books that have chapters that start with long paragraphs of italics text that is smaller than the rest of "main body text" = crash and exit to Home on first "next page" event. |

This book is not yet published, therefore "Try a Sample" link is missing.

LOL, sorry I've forgotten that I've read ARC of that book. It will be published tomorrow...
It's probably combination something related to my custom font & values for font size because now when I try sample for first book from that trilogy (which I've remember also crashed on every first page of a chapter) now works while I'm testing Bookerly font on my PW1. So nevermind. |

I can confirm that it works for 5.6.5, German settings.
Since my eyes are neither young nor old I opted for a sort of medium-sized which I can adjust depending on the glasses I wear: 11.30 11.72 12.14 12.56 12.98 13.40 13.82 14.24 Works well with azw3, not with mobi (since the kindle's not jailbroken) and haven't seen kfx yet. |

I just tested this on a PW2 and on a PW3 (both italian kindle) with newest 5.6.5 and it did work. I just connected my kindles and put on the root a FONT_RAMP file with these values 9.33 10.00 10.67 11.33 12.00 12.67 13.33 14.00
Only issue is that the 'preview' sizes you get on the font menu stay the same. Last edited by marrco; 08-13-2015 at 06:40 AM. |

Wasn't there also a CJK_FONT_RAMP? (or not, my memory is maybe having parity errors)
So now maybe there is a KFX_FONT_RAMP. |

FONT_RAMP doesn't work on mobi files. It works on azw3. I tested it a few times, but it has no effect on mobi. Both on pw2 and pw3, with latest 5.6.5 firmware
