An even easier question is "was it published before 1923". If the answer is "yes", then it's in the public domain.

Excuse the noob question, but how does this work?
Is it simply that we vote until the end of the month - so this month is GWTW - then read it and post on the discussion thread? I looked in the Wiki but didn't find anything. |

Hi Ben. The nominations open at the end of the (previous) month, based on a topic and then voting takes place for a week or so and then the reading and a discussion thread is started later in the month.

Ben, I'm not sure about the topic choosing but PilotBob is the ringleader round here, you could probably search back through the threads and see what we've done. I've only been involved the last few months and it doesn't looks like I'm going to have time to do Gone With the Wind this month....just too much going on at both work and home...
