Outside of battery life, looks to me like the 2 is a better device.
But the Air looks like it probably has a bigger battery and more efficient processor. |

My bad. I jumped over that stat. I've corrected it. The 2 wins on battery. Probably that's how the Air is so thin by giving up a lot of battery capacity.

IIRC other Boox products have a magnesium back cover? 40 grams is not much to be fair. Old style packet of crisps before shrinkflation took hold... "I'll have a Note 2 and a packet of crisps please." "Here, have a Note Air, it weighs the same." |

They're close enough in specs that for me the decision seems to be coming down to whether I would like holding the Kindle Oasis type design on the Air and I don't think I would, not for reading mostly. There is just something about the device being more book shaped that appeals to me for reading.
The biggest part of me wanting to overlook that is the Android 10 on the air. I'm an apple guy on everything outside of ereader though, could someone who understands android tell me what advantage 10 is to 9 if my primary use is gonna be Kindle App? |

Note Air has a sensor that enables auto-rotate of the display. That does set it apart from all other Boox products, brings it closer to most "normal" tablets.

Auto rotate is a function which I usually turn off on most of my devices. Never found it that difficult to manually switch from landscape to portrait. When on auto, sometimes it will switch between modes when I don't want it to. Sometimes one just wants to recline at an odd angle.

The specifications listed in the screenshot clearly say only one is Mobius. That same difference is responsible for the weight difference between the Kobo Libra and the Forma. The Forma has the Mobius plastic substrate, the Libra has the more common glass substrate, and is therefore almost the same weight, despite being significantly smaller
