But your books are machine generated. With our "hand-crafted" books each electron is meticulously put in place by a skillled craftsman...

Not very different from the process on Book Designer. Except that once a book is in the database, it can be generated into multiple formats, and that you don't have to deal with such things as TOC or chapter headings and page breaks, the system does this for you. |

I feel it should be noted that Patricia has now posted 900 books in the download section. (I also must admit that I have not read them all, not even close.)
Congratulations Patricia! |

I'd be surprised if anyone managed to read these 900 books within the time Patricia prepared them for us
Congrats Patricia!! |

Thanks, guys. I'm pleased to report that I've taken most of my Wilkie Collins and a lot of my Henry James to a Homeless shelter's library and my local hospital library. The warden of the homeless people's shelter tells me that a lot of her clientele are graduates and actually enjoy a classic.
So it's a win-win situation. I've cleared another metre of shelf-space by converting classics. The homeless people can read classics (if they like) and any MobileRead members who actually like Victorian melodramas and mysteries get a chance to download some for free. When I've finished the Collins and Henry James, I may start converting my Edith Whartons next. I have far too many books in the house. And you don't have to dust electronic versions. |

This post, as of this moment, puts me only 1,000 posts away from catching up to Alexander Turcic's post count!
