What I plan on doing is when I do decide to read the Dresden Files story, I'll read the book it's in. So I'll save it until then.

Well, it could be construed as a spoiler. It reveals a mechanic of the upcoming book The question remains if it is before the next book or during the book. I am guessing it might be between last book and upcoming book.

When did that happen, and are we not seeing it this year then since it should be close to finished if he wants to still publish it this year????? Any info on Twelve Months plotwise or anything? The latest short looked like part of Mirror Mirror, unless Twelve Months is a long prelude to Mirror Mirror.

I think Jim titled the book Twelve Months as that's how long it will take to write.

Twelve Months was changed to book 19 after Battle Ground was released, looking at the Wayback Machine, looks like sometime between November 2020 and January 2021.

I think I vaguely remember. Still makes no sense to publish the teaser for Mirror Mirror when it is not next. Maybe it was already written before he squeezed other one in.

Obviously. And the great majority of people only work, because they need the money. Jim Butcher hasn't been in need of money for a long time. Doesn't mean he should abandon the foundation his success is built upon.
