I am looking for a better replacement stylus for my Note + too. I ordered two stylus' from Ali, but that takes a while...

On the Boox forum I read about a Lamy EMR pen. That should work also... I ordered one today and it will be delivered tomorow... I'll keep you posted!

YESS!! It works! It is way better then the original pen. And better:

The nibs from the original stylus work in the Lamy also! I find the original nibs in the Lamy to 'hard' but I replaced it with the nib in the original pen. It works!

There are two down sides..
- There is only one button for erase (not on the back)
- The pen does not fit easily in the original cover. I have the clip of the cap in the cover and have to put the pen out of the cap..

Two more things...

The pen costs about €45,- in the Netherlands.
There is NO latency in writing (was mentioned on the Boox forum).

And I am going to make a new pen holder... The cap is to thick to stay in the holder...

I’ve had the HP ZBook X2 stylus for over a week now, and I got to say it’s the best stylus I’ve found so far. The eraser buttons works (side and top), it feels good in my hand, and I think the pressure sensitivity is better than the original. It also slips right into the stylus holder of the case.

The only thing I wish it had is more weight to it. It’s still made out of plastic so it doesn’t have that nice high-end weight to it that I would like.

I searched this stylus also. I found it a bit expensive, but the looks are great. Don't you miss a clip?

I have this one as well. I like it a lot. It was only $18 on amazon actually, at least here in the US.

I don’t miss the clip at all.

It slips right into the loop and wedges in there securely, so I don’t find the lack of a clip to be an issue. And yeah, it’s less than $20 on Amazon and eBay in the US, so it’s actually one of the most affordable alternatives.

I ordered this Samsung pen from Ali:
https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/40002...24984c4dE3k4LN

It works great, but I do not like the pen. No clip and the nib is very small and close to the pen... No winner, but it works..

Thanks for the tip! The LAMY EMR pen looks great.

Can I ask two questions about it?

i) Did you figure out a solution for where to keep the pen (because cap is too big for the holder attached to your case)

ii) How is the weight of the pen compare to the original stylus? I definitely prefer a heavier pen.

Your questions:
i) I put the cap in the holder. It just fits. I leave it in the holder and use the pen without the cap. I find the weight without the cap better then with the cap, so I do not use the cap at all. Only to put the pen back with the case. It clicks in the cap and stays there. No problem at all. So leaving it in the holder is no problem. I can fold the case with the cap in the holder. No problem. I wanted to knit a new holder, but this works for me.

ii) Without the cap thew Lamy weighs a little bit more then the original stylus. The Lamy: 12 grams. The original pen: 8 grams. With cap the lamy weighs 21 grams, but the balance is different then, wich I don't like..

The Lamy is thicker and has a better grip.

Good luck!
