(Sorry, just working my way through the thread to see the way it unravels - whether it unravels like Torvill and Dean skating backwards, or with Bo Derek refusing, with justified revulsion, to seduce Dudley Moore). Cheers, Zany Carter (definitely a '10') |

Hmm, MR colloquialism:
NatCh's spleen: phrase used on MR to beg-off from humorous threads lest the jocularity cause an important organ in the named member's hematopoietic system become inflamed and engorged and spasmodic to such a degree that it leaps forth from his chest and runs into the bowels of this spaceship to transform itself into the ultimate killing machine. Remember folks, bursting NatCh's spleen is bad karma. It'll come back to eat your face twice in one bite(s), with much gnashing of teeth and acid-washing of your jeans, and acid-wash jeans are so last-milieu. Cheers, Marc (Fashion Guru to the Damned) |

I thought it was a bit weird in here, but I think they're talking about "The virtuous eggs of the forum" over in the French forum:

I think VR should be our official French interpreter. Ouverture = virtuous eggs? Brilliant.

I'd love to speak English as well as VR speaks French.

Um, question for you philosophy majors:
If I voted for "Heavens to Murgatroyd," and it wasn't on the list... can anyone hear how stupid I am? (came late to the poll, and so is reduced to asking inane questions to justify his appearance, which is kinda grotty, because he's been on the road all day, and they never sweep it) |
