What keyboard and mouse? I never had any problems with very cheap keyboards and mice.

Maybe you need a powered USB 2 hub for your keyboard and mouse?

PS: what do you mean by "Never can use the add (Strg -Alt-Q)"
Is that a keyboard combination on German keyboards or one I do not know (hey I want to learn)?

You need to do step 3! (to make things a lot easier)

sudo docker run hello-world

would work but is not what you want.

We can consider it the default user for adding the Pi user in Raspbian.

I placed mine in /home/pi/Docker/calibre-web/books/calibre_library
change pi for your user name eg. huber70 (or xxxxx)

Would it be better to copy the whole library (approx 30gb) to the Stick1 or leave it on Stick2?

For now it's easier to copy to the first USB stick.

But here it get's interesting.
- first stick is formatted EXT4 (windows does not write that
- second stick is exFAT (?)

So you need to copy from stick 2 to stick 1 (and to where on stick 1?)

On your raspberry with both sticks inserted:

Samsung Ultra Fit good choice. I use one myself.

And to the second question: Where do you want to put your calibre_library on stick 1?
Any specific preferences?

2 options (out of many more)

1 - copy "my" setup. My library is in /home/pi/Docker/calibre-web/books

2 - in its own directory in the root /calibre-web

Your choice. 1 is more Debian compliant, 2 is simple to understand for the beginner.

then I'll take the second suggestion (beginner), also because under /home/pi(huber70) there is no folder "Docker"

There is no folder Docker under /home/huber70 because we have not put I there (yet) and have not installed Docker (or have you?)

In blue the command you have to excecute from the terminal:

sudo mkdir /calibre-web
sudo chmod 777 /calibre-web

cd /mnt/USB

What is the output of ls -l ?


PS: I do not like the "low voltage warnings" ....

- bad power adapter or cord
- either keyboard or mouse draw to much power
- combination
