You have to pre-cook the meat. The machine cooks the egg, and warms the muffin, cheese and meat.

The machine gets good reviews on Amazon, but the unit which tries to make two sandwiches at once does not.

Perhaps. But not as good a one (or gluten free). Not to mention 5 minutes to make beats a 1/2 hour trip in the car (without coffee first, also, I suppose, since you can have a hot breakfast by the time the coffee brews).
