Ich jetzt auch.
Bei den eBooks funktioniert's ganz gut. Die Auswahl ist überschaubar, aber nicht uninteressant. Die Sache mit den ausgeliehenen und deshalb gesperrten Büchern ist irgendwie etwas lächerlich, aber so etwas kommt halt dabei raus, wenn man Konzepte einfach überträgt. Ist ein bisschen so als könne man Kartoffeln nicht in einem Korb transportieren, weil das ja bei Wasser auch nicht geht. Was partout nicht funzt, sind die Hörbücher. Bin ja schon ein gerecht bewanderter Knöpfchendrücker, aber ich hab die Datei nicht zum Laufen gebracht. Trotz richtigen Windoofs Mediaplayer und Update für geschützte Inhalte. Mal so nebenbei, runterladen bei Rabbitshare wäre da bedeutend leichter. *Kopf schüttel* Und ein bisschen mehr Serverkapazität hätte es dann doch sein können. Meine Onleihe ist gerade wegen Überlastung (vermute ich mal) in die Knie gegangen. Obwohl, Bibliothek wegen Überfüllung geschlossen - das ist doch auch mal schön |

Klar, und wenn man eine Flasche nimmt statt einem Korb kann man auch Wasser damit transportieren. Womit ich sagen will, es ist lächerlich um jeden Preis zu versuchen "alten" Bücher im neuen Medium abzubilden, komplett mit allen Nachteilen. Bei digitalen Datein gibt es eben gerade keinen legitimen Grund hier das Angebot künstlich zu verknappen. Man muss nur noch dafür sorgen dass die Autoren gerecht entlohnt werden, aber dafür gibt es ja Modelle (bereits jetzt zahlen Bibliotheken für jedes Mal Verleihen eine Urheberrechtsabgabe).

Für diejenigen, die des englischen mächtig sind, kann ich die Bibliothek von Singapur sehr empfehlen.
http://singapore.lib.overdrive.com/D...en/Default.htm Das Angebot ist riesig, die Leihdauer beträgt im normalfall 21 Tage,die Kosten sind moderat ( ich glaub 15$/Jahr, weiss aber nicht mehr so genau). Registrierung geht offiziell über Passnummer, jede beliebige 9stellige Nummer tut's aber auch. |

Hört sich gut an. Hab mich auch da angemeldet aber noch keine Bestätigungsmail erhalten. Haben die auch EPUBs?? Außerdem läd die Seite zur Zeit sehr schlecht :-(

Du musst nicht auf die Bestätigungsmail warten, du kannst gleich ausleihen. Die haben auch jede Menge ePubs; speziell danach sortieren kannst du mit links oben "advanced search" und dann bei "Formats" ePub auswählen.

Wenn es im Bookshelf steht, auf "Download" klicken, dann kommt ne ACSM Datei, wie beim Buchkauf auch. Die lässt sich dann mit ADE öffnen und lädt das Buch runter, alles weitere wie gehabt

Bei mir sieht das komplett anders aus.
Startest du denn auch von dieser Seite? NRIC/FIN ist deine Pass-Nummer. Wenn du schon die Anmeldeprozedur durchlaufen hast, einfach bei Login deine Passnummer und bei Username den Namen eingeben, mit dem du dich angemeldet hast.
