Hard to pick a favorite but the one I've reread the most is "The wheel of time" by Robert Jordan.

The Chronicels of Deryni by Katherine Kurtz
I also enjoyed the second series (Camber of Culdi), but its doesn't crack my top five. After that the Deryni novels became way to depressing for me to read. I made it through the third but didn't finish the fourth. Hitchhikers Guid to the Galaxy and Hobbit/LOTR with the above are my three most reread series. |

The Giver series by Lois Lowry (I just read the last, Son.) I really liked the Harry Potter books. His Dark Materials. The Chronicles of Narnia. Hmm there are lots of kids/YA series on the list, but I don't mainly read kids/YA books. I think kids and YA books are more likely to be in series. |

I'm going to introduce some graphic novels with "Lone Wolf and Cub" by Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima. Those two also collaborate on the excellent "Samurai Executioner" and "Path of the Assassin" series.

My favorite series are the ones where the individual books have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
