@Syniurge Try LRFs. The steps are not so big in this format. Also I'd suggest you inform Sony you don't like it, as we hardly have any method to know what they know... Or, wait a minute, I just found my missing crystal ball. |

I never thought about it. They sort of fit to one of the three situations I could possible find myself in. [at least the original 3] S - at home, in the office, any static position, like getting a good Mexican tan M - sometimes at home, sometimes on train L - sometimes on train, always on a bus |

Font sizes were less annoying on the 505 than they are on the new models. Sony needs to take a lesson from the Nook or Kindle. Perhaps they should add a larger number of options like my K3 if they want to keep the same range of min to max. In my case I do not like large font sizes. I never use L. M is often too big. It's really annoying when S is too small and M is too big and sometimes the margin cut option doesn't help fake a middle-ground enough.

I do believe they never realized that there is a difference between LRF and epub and they never adjusted the font size when they changed to epub.

Just updated, shut down and restarted. So far, so fun.
However, visited Kartu's page and it appears the updated FW-ready version of PRS+ is still in the works. Pity, that. |

I have had my PRS650 since last summer. I have never updated the firmware and would love advice.
1. I am nervous 2. Where do I find updates, Sony site is confusing 3. I don't see what version I have 4. I notice Kartu seems to do amazingly interesting updates. Please can someone who uses that firmware give me advice about it, where to find it and if it works with Digital Editions which is what I use. I appreciate I sound pretty pathetic. I have researched just got more nervous! I am terrified of messing up my reader. Thank you, Amanda |
