I thought I had read that elsewhere. Now I'm curious. I'll probably have to find a free DRM book (or a cheap one) at B&N to see if DeDRM still works on my computer for B&N books.

Logging into Nook for PC
It’s my understanding that if we already have it installed we can use nook for PC. I haven’t used it in a few years, but never had any issues signing in and downloading my books. Now I get an error every time I try to log in. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

Could your firewall be blocking the app? If using wifi, make sure it's not a metered connection. Also, allow the Nook app to run in the background. This setting stymied me once as I have a habit of disabling apps running in the background immediately after installing/reinstalling Windows. The Nook for PC app support was discontinued. It's the Nook for Windows 10 app that still works; however it is no longer in the Windows app store

Don't know about Windows 10 because it worked perfectly on my old computer running Windows 10, but on my new computer running Windows 11, there's no option to reset the Nook app. And since I'd already future proofed all my Barnes & Noble purchases, it doesn't really matter anyway. I've moved on to another provider.
