I'd like to be able to have it play iTunes music, but I know that isn't going to happen. The vast majority of my digital music has been purchased from iTunes. Let's hear it for DRM: Hip! Hip! Hooray!

Then how do I import the music into Amazon for playing on my Echo when it comes? :cornstarch:
Can you tell I'm using Swype with Tapatalk on my phone? ":cornstarch:" was meant to be ":chinscratch:" ( ). I won't even mention what Swype kept trying to change "Tapatalk" into. |

An addition for the Echo wish list:
The ability to turn off the "cards" feature and/or delete them more efficiently in the Echo app. Most of the time, I find them to be of little value, and having to expand each card in order to delete it is tedious! Put a delete button in the upper-right corner of the card instead. Anyone else share this pet peeve, or am I the only one? |

The Echo is a great FM radio. From inside the app, I tap TuneIn --> Local Radio. Then I leave it on this screen so I can change stations at will. I find this to be much quicker than voice commands.
If I'm at my computer, I use the Echo app in a separate tab. It's easier than using a mobile device. |

I'd like to see Amazon expand the iHeart and TuneIn apps to their full Android versions. For example, TuneIn is missing favorites and that makes changing stations more difficult.

Amazon Echo Club
I have over 3,000 items in iTunes, but only about 2,000 of them are music. The other items are stuff from iTunesU, The Learning Company, podcasts, old radio shows, audiobooks, and etc. I'm only importing the music, and even some of that is going to be left behind. Quite frankly, there are some songs that I have no recollection of buying and when I hear them, I wonder what I was thinking. Well, many of those in question were iTunes freebies. I don't even know if they're still doing that or not, but it's a wonderful way to build a large and really crappy music library really quickly. |
