Did Ms Cole die more than 50 years ago? If not, her books are not in the Canadian public domain, and cannot be uploaded. This is not a site for pirated books; the sort of low-life slime who think it's cool to deprive authors of their livelihood are not welcome here.

I think Harry was being a bit harsh, but if you've read this thread - along with a number of others - then you might understand him reacting this way. It seems no matter how many times the moderators and other members of this site explain that we do not condone the use of this site for piracy and politely ask people not to ask for it, people still request this material.

This site only hosts books that are available in the public-domain, and presented to you in a way as to provide the best reading experience we can.

The members of this site pride themselves on transforming a bog-standard text available from sites like Gutenberg, into something that you will want to read over and over again.

This takes time and dedication, and sometimes this can cause us to react a bit too strongly to certain comments.

Please feel free to continue to use this site, but please, try and do a bit of research about what you are asking for before posting a comment like that requesting books from an author. If they are not dead, then they are most likely not going to allow their books to be hosted here. Some authors - like Cory Doctorow - do advocate the use of sites like this one for their books, but they are in the minority.

Do you have the epub book of the Earthsea cycles of Ursula K. Le Guin. I'm looking for the complete series in .epub format. If anyone could help me, that'd be great. Many thanks

read0405, this library only contains books that are in the Public Domain or under some similar legal rights. That's why we don't have any books by Ursula K. Le Guin here.

I just don't understand which part of "do not ask for copyrighted books" it is that people are having difficulty in understanding. Is the fact that MobileRead is not a site for pirated books that surprising or difficult to grasp?

As often as not it's probably just laziness. Easier to make one post here than to actually research an author.
