Two men, after a very long night of bar-hopping, got the idea into their heads that they needed to be baptized to wash away their sins of the evening. Staggering up to a local church, they begin banging on the front doors and yelling for someone to baptize them.
Eventually, a bleary eyed man opens the front door, tosses a full bedpan in their faces, and slams the door closed again. With burning eyes, the first man turns to the second and says, "I don't think that was a proper baptism." The second suggests, "Maybe we're at the wrong church... I think he might have been Episcopalian." |
