hm. if i had worked in an office like that, i might not have been quite so eager to go freelance. i've never had to duck to avoid flying inflatable cacti in any professional context. (or personal, come to that.) just where do you work ?

LazyScot, are you sure you don't work in my office? I think most of those items have flown over my cube walls. To be honest, I'm typically the culprit. Haven't done paper airplanes recently...might have to try that next week. (Oh, I need to refill my bubble bottle. Bubbles! ) And in my office, if you're out of the office for a couple of days, it's like you'll return to a redecorated cube.

The web team (who are on the next desk block along from me) have a USB-operated nerf rocket gun.
We used to have a beach ball which we threw around, but it got lost one move. We also throw pens, post-it notes, mouse balls, a 5 amp fuse and other random desk junk at each other. But no inflatable cacti (mostly I think because none of us have one) And for some reason last year the company decided it would be a good idea to do a 12 sided calender which could be squodged flat, but had a rubber band inside it so it sprang into shape. By February most people didn't have theirs any more as they'd been used in all manner of booby-traps... |

I hope you had the presence of mind to chop the bodies up smaller and distribute them over a wider range of ocean this time...

At least I work in a normal environment, where the only things that are exchanged are dirty (and normal) jokes...
We don't need physical skills to make our presence known, we have evolved beyond that and have moved on to the verbal skills. Besides, I haven't ever seen that thing called a "cubicle", even on, what has been called on this thread, an open-plan office (which we call an office garden). |

No, they are not. You hear the knocking on your door? That´s them again. They just went to get some stuff to stay another 8 weeks.

The Gods aren't just a bit crazy - they're totally, farking, barking mad, and will gladly hide their body of shame with your viscera. ...but, THEY'RE GONE! I'm here, aren't I? Do you think this deserves a party, or even, perhaps, a Party (TM - Monstnmags Enterprises)? I'm ready if you all are. Inlaws and outlaws, daemons and gods, pictogram golems and Übermensch clods, Freudian avatars, corporeal fears, raising their glasses, '"to Family...Cheers!" Quote:

PARTY! I was certainly there last week, whenever that was. Usual time and place? Tell Adrian to call up those "friendly ladies" who were at the next one. I'm still trying to get the concept of matching the curtains with the antimacassar.
