thanks for the photos lazyscot ! you better watch yourself around the management, you don't want to get on their bad side. the yellow ones would probably squeak you half to death and as for the ones with horns, well, better not to mention anything about them out loud.

I loved the duck pond, but didn't realise at first that the half-sunk bins were 'art' LOL
Was a funny sort of day today, sunny then overcast - at one point the wind blew and the entire tent shook, including lights, projector and everything! I will be there on time, if not earlier (depending on whether I come straight for work or go home first) |

I'll bring my better half, so feel free if you want to do likewise.
Although the LRB tent has WiFi, I won't be taking a laptop -- too much to carry, and too much rain! |

OK, I have no idea what I'll be wearing and am unlikely to get round to printing stuff out, so in the interests of identification, I have blue nails today. That should help narrow it down.

Perhaps if you re-painted the little fingernails, red - that would narrow it down even more....

I am rather longing to hear how it went. Or is it still going on?
Has anyone any news? Or pictures? Or both? |

Well, Mindy and I met up, and after I changed to the extra dark sunglasses to cope with her added sparkles, we had a fun time (and I got to see a CyBook!). We also had a lot of "What's that?" "Is that a Kindle?" "Is that a the new Sony?".
As usual, I should have "Ecoutez Zelda" and taken some little cards with the website details to hand out, but hopefully most people who asked and are interested will remember the website name. This being Edinburgh during the festival, the people asking questions included a couple from France. Must dash -- more Festivaling to be done -- will try and say more tomorrow. P.S.: Oh... and we must try and do it again at the next Book Festival.... Last edited by LazyScot; 08-19-2008 at 05:28 AM. Reason: Added PS |
