Goodreads seems to have included two different Jane Clifton's books as the same author.

The New Zealand Jane Clifton has apparently written Political Animals and the synopsis is:

How I determine who an Australian or New Zealand author is ....

- a person who was born in either Aus or NZ;

- a person who has moved to either Aus or NZ;

- a person who was born in either Aus or NZ and then moved to another country to live;

The books of these authors may be about events in Aus or NZ, or may be about events in any other country.

This seems a fairly broad identification of an Aus or NZ author, but it seems to conform with how the publishing industry determines the nationality of an author.

Adrian McKinty, for example, was born in Belfast, has lived in the US, now lives in Melbourne and was shortlisted for the 2013 Ned Kelly awards.

I haven't read them, so can't comment, but Wikipedia says that Who Killed Angelique won the Ned Kelly Award for Best First Novel, and Who Killed Bianca, was a finalist for the Ned Kelly Award for Best Novel

Emma Darcy is an unknown author to me, but her Goodreads blurb indicates that her 'international popularity has resulted in over sixty-million book sales'! (In the romance genre apparently)

Amazon condescendingly anointed Aus with its own Amazon ebook store yesterday. They achieved this by hiding all the aspects of the amazon.com screens that they felt like and then displayed what they thought they could get away with showing Australian members.

They've pretty much matched the prices of all other Australian ebook sellers with their pricing (from what I can see), and think we should be in awe that they've now got a site called amazon.com.au. .....

For Australians Earthly Delights on amazon.com.au is $11.80.
