The plugin was updated to v0.10, tested with Calibre 7.16 on Windows.

- PB Color 3 support was added.
This still needs testing, but it should work. It is indeed a USB Vendor ID issue. I missed the previous post asking for this, sadly. - [US vs EU dates ]

- Fix (attempt) for MacOS USB support
This also seems a USB Vendor ID issue, judging from the fixes for the extended PB driver. It's also untested, as the reporters don't provide details for fixing the issue...

There is one other detection issue that may need resolving, TBC.

I have the same problem.
I have a Pocketbook inkpad color 2 and it recognizes it as HD diva.

I would be very grateful if you can solve it.

I'm running it on a Mac mini.

Update 17/12/2024, it already works on my PB743C recognized as HD DIVA.

So the PB Color is misidentified as a Bookeen Diva? (not exactly the same problem, but I digress) Sending books should work (the plugin doesn't deal with that), but the plugin menu shows "No PocketBook reader found", with the menu items being disabled, correct?

A possible fix is to always enable the plugin menu items - regardless of the detected e-reader brand. Say, by adding a toggle on the plugin preference panel. That might be doable.

Is it is possible to provide more info on the device, please? This can be done by connecting the device, opening Calibre, and posting the preference dialog output found here:

Preferences -> Miscellaneous -> debug device detection

(BTW, feel free to remove the device serial)

And do you use Windows, Linux or Mac?

The Vivlio's are rebranded PocketBooks, and are generally always detected in my experience.

My PB InkPad Color 3 is also not detected - "No PocketBook Reader found".

I disabled the "Bookeen Diva HD Device" plugin in Calibre so that it will not be detected as Diva HD device.
And I use the "PocketBook Improved Device Interface" plugin to communicate with the device.
The "debug device detection" is empty as it says "a device (PocketBook Improved) has already be detected by calibre...
