I had some time today and finally got this thread up-to-date. I do keep the spreadsheet up-to-date more than this thread.

Also added a tab where you can check the 6-month-rule (I assume that was your intention?): Updated Spreadsheet

I don't have any nominated books from 2018 or earlier in the list but will try to add them as I go from now on.

I think I have the logic correct, please let me know if it looks wrong.

In hopes of simplifying things I have combined the 6-month rule search and the eligibility search in the spreadsheet. Hopefully that makes finding out if a book is eligible slightly easier.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the spreadsheet. Most of the time I don't even see a list that I can manually scroll through, sometimes I do. When I don't see the list at all, I get no results for a search, even if I'm searching a name I know should be there (e.g., Atwood, Hemingway). Exiting and reloading don't rectify the problem. This has been happening over several days. Help!

Sorry about that, there have been some issues with a couple of the formulas I used in there recently so I've removed them and done this a different way. Can you check the spreadsheet again? Thank you!

Just now, when I first clicked on the link, I got a populated spreadsheet. I searched on "Hemingway," which I knew was there. So far so good; I got results. Then I searched on "Letts"--I nominated a book of hers a while back but am not sure if it was fully nominated--and got no results. OK, maybe it wasn't fully nominated. But after that, anything I put in the search box got no results, even authors or titles I know for a fact were chosen. It's like once there are no results for a search term, that's it, no more results for anything.

Most of the time over the past few days, the spreadsheet wasn't populated when I first clicked on the link and no searches would work.

I can replicate what you have done for the first two (Hemingway and Letts - The Elizabeth Letts book is eligible again so it wouldn't show up) but after that it does keep working for me. Searches for "Huxley", "Conrad", and "Dante" all worked.

It might be better if you choose to show "All" from cell B5 (last drop-box) since that will show both eligible and ineligible results*. Dante is now eligible so it doesn't show up unless you select all or eligible in B5.

*It will not show eligible books that have been nominated since that would get confusing and add a lot of books each month. You can look in the "Nominations" tab and search there if you want (CTRL-F), I think search should work at least.

The unpopulated sheet when opened is what I fixed earlier, it was taking too long to get data back, I'm not sure why a search wouldn't be working though.

I have had "all" indicated all the times I've searched.

Just now, I thought it was working. I used the same initial searches, Hemingway and Letts. Then I searched the title Dollmaker--and got results. Yay, I thought. Then I did a few more searches I was sure should yield results, and they did. I searched Greyfriars Bobby and got nothing, which was as it should be. Next search was Atwood--and again I got nothing, when I should have gotten results. Hemingway again--no results.

I'm specifically using terms now that I know should or should not be there; my concern is that it's impossible for me to tell if a search that yields no results is accurate.

Am I the only one having trouble? This is weird!

P.S. I had closed the search page when I started to write this post. I just reopened it from the link, and it gives me an unpopulated spreadsheet with my last search term still shown.

@Dazrin: Thanks for that spreadsheet! Awesome job. It makes it really easy to see what is eligible or not. Or even if one of the clubs has already discussed it, but it's now eligible again. Perfect.

It still doesn't work for me.
