I hate supermarket express checkouts that describe themselves as
"Less than 10 items"; favourate of a few, even Marks&Spencer... |

Seriously.
Attached find a model of concision when answering questions. The only thing I would have done different was use a question mark: Seriously?
Spot the irony in this post. Last edited by Taylor514ce; 06-02-2008 at 11:01 AM. Reason: I wanted my post to read differently. |

I was going to say "no squirrels" at first, but then remembered the injuction against such. Then I was going to say "splunge" but remembered at the last second how much you didn't like that. So, I guess I'll just say that there is a missing colon and a missing i in a site answering quesitons about grammar.

Ah, sorry. The irony is in my post, not in the attachment. The attachment is fine. I posted it because I liked the answer, which is correct. I applied passive emotifaction to whomever answered it with the single word, "Seriously", to add irony and the rolling of eyes.

i think you scared them with your last post asking "find the 7 differences...". not to worry though, i can't be the only one applying pre-emptive rolling of eyes to *all* your posts.

I know, I know... that's why I found the whole thing humorous. A silly question, badly worded, with improper grammar, and the answer "Seriously", which is of course correct but which I chose to read as overladen heavily with irony.
Irony is heavy, you know. It's made from iron. And in my post I wrote "different" instead of "differently", in an attempt to be funny. That's all. |
