Hrrmm, what to do vote for? I really want to read both "Wuthering Heights" and "The Woman in White." I may have to sit back for a little and see where the poll takes us before voting

Why? I don't understand that. Perhaps from now on I should make the poll hidden until it is closed so people vote for what they want to read... and not based on the current votes.

I voted for the Woman in White. I have been wanting to read it since last year. The length of the book doesn't bother me.

I wouldn't mind trying that once. It would take some of the fun out of the process, I think, but then it would be extra interesting when the tally is revealed!

I think hiding the poll would be a good idea. It would prevent some of the heavy-handed lobbying we've seen in recent months.

It's not a big deal to me either way. If the winning book isn't one I want to read, I just bow out of participating that month.

Even better, it's disco! (Sort of a combination of progressive rock and disco, anyway)

Walden, especially now with the Tea Party Movement, the Transcendentalists are more important to revisit than ever...

A Lot of people probably have a lot of free time coming up (what with all the holidays and all), so vote for the Count of Monte Cristo, it's nice and long.

I was really hoping Wuthering Heights would do well. But, no go. I also have been wanting to read Of Mice and Men although I don't think this has hit PD yet... has it?

It is a great book. Really good start... slows down a bit in the middle... but picks back up as you figure out who all the new characters are.

...and as I said in the other thread, there is already a discussion thread about it... so feel free to read if it doesn't win and add your thoughts to the thread.
