Update: New functionality in v0.3.1

* For all anchor tags that just contain ids and strings, the plugin now moves the anchor text string to the parent tag and ensures that the anchor's end tag always occurs before the start of the new parent tag string.

If your epub contains anchor tags with just ids and text strings then some ereaders will interpret this wrongly -- for instance with such anchor ids(with no href links) ADE will display all anchor text as blue with underline just like a link, which is wrong. This plugin update fixes that problem in both epubs and imported html docs.`

Update: Fixed an svg problem where any epub files with svg images would give Epubcheck errors. This plugin can now process epubs that contain svg images without giving svg errors in Epubcheck.

Update: The plugin has the following changes in v0.3.5:

* The automatic removal of soft/hard breaks by the plugin has been removed. This capability has instead been added to the Cleanup Options dialog as a new user option.

* Fixed a problem with missing 'xmlns:xlink' attributes in svg code after plugin rendering.

* Fixed a bug in the Cleanup Options dialog.

Help. I have just updated to the latest version and the start window does not show the OK Button

It will not let me resize the window so I can see the "OK" button, which means I am stuck and cannot run the plugin.

I am on Windows 7 and am using the latest version of Sigil.

I Have attached a copy of the screen (eventually), which should help you diagnose the problem

The window will not resize previous versions of the plugin did let me resize the window.

I like the plugin and use it heavily and I feel stuck without it.

Update...In v0.3.6 the plugin can now be resized, button spacing has been increased and I've also reduced font size in order to accommodate the sizing problems reported by Thasaidon.

I have used the plugin on over 100 books since your last amendment. It works very well and I find it very useful.

There is however one minor nuisance which I have been meaning to tell you about for a long time . Sometimes when I run the plugin it fails (about one in twenty times). When I check the Details I get something like that below.

If I run the plugin a second time it usually then works but sometimes I have to run it three times.

As I said it is only a minor nuisance, but if you nothing better to do, sometime, could have a look at it please.

@ Thasaidon...I've run at least 5 different epubs through this plugin many times and cannot replicate your "file exists" error. I've also looked at the code and there isn't anything obvious there. The problem seems to be happening at the end of the prettifyXHTMLFile function when the original read file is finally deleted and the prettified output file is renamed back to the original read file name. I'll keep looking.

Salamat. Thank you for having a look at the issue.

It is only a minor nuisance and I can easily live with it.

If it helps - I work on batches of about 100 books at a time. (In some of them the HTML is a mess.) This has allowed me to produce macros to automate parts of getting the books just how I want them. As part of the process I manually run the plug in on each book individually. In about one in twenty times (guestimate) I get this nuisance happening. It is only a minor nuisance as if I run the plugin again it usually works the second time. Very occasionally I might have to run the plugin a third time before it works
