Hi, I bought my first ebook reader, Story, two weeks ago at the hugendubel store and am really enjoying reading the ebook from it. And I found that iriver just released the firmware(1.5) today. I downloaded it from here
(http://www.sendspace.com/file/33vu2z ) It’s a temporary link though. I’ve tested it a little bit and found some distinctive functions like the link to the Table of contents(by clicking option key) - Resume from the latest setting, by document - Auto pageview from Comic viewer - Moving page by typing page number. - Power management function |

Here is the list of upgrade points with pictures (firmware 1.50) http://www.iriver.com/flash/index.asp?code=0302.
I have sometimes problems with Czech type of EPUB. My helper is Calibre (E-book manager) which changes it to PDF file and problems is solved. |

It seems that the Dictionary is in Korean. Is there an English one?

Reading the comics from the story.
Here’s my review for the “story”. I didn’t try many comics yet. But with the zip file, it’s really cool. After the firmware(Ver. 1.5) upgrade a couple of days ago, it has dithering function. It appears awesome to me. If you like comics, you will find dithering function as an essential thing. The surface looks smooth. And it’s like reading the comics with the paperback. There’s also the auto page view for comics. You can set the time for the auto page view. Then it automatically turns the page in the given seconds. And for the last part but the most interesting to me is “fit to screen function”. With this function, there’s no margin left at the edge of the page. It doesn’t waste the display space. Overall I like it. Last edited by hyeseung; 12-17-2009 at 11:31 AM. |
