The three books in The Gin Palace Trilogy by Daniel Judson are $.99 each at Amazon. The first two were free back in May, as posted by ATDrake, but apparently he revised the first one in July. They were published in paper by Bantam.

I like historical mysteries a lot, and this is an enjoyable series. I have three or four in DTB.
