@Terisa
Try this version of the tools and see if it's to your liking.
The zip file is much larger because I'm creating it with no compression. Otherwise, the overall size of the uncompressed files actually got smaller from v0.3.0. Let me know. If nothing got broken, I'll update the first post with 0.3.1 sometime. EDIT: first post updated with the test version that used to be here. Attachment removed from this post. Thank you very much @DiapDealer, it's exactly what I wanted. And the section tag will come in handy because I've already found some books with it.

Good to know!
Let me know if anything wonky happens. If I don't hear anything (and nothing turns up from my testing) I'll update the first post. I've found the section tag comes in handy when downgrading commercial EPUB3s to EPUB2 (when there's no particular advantage for them being EPUB3). |

Another (small) request
Small request to please consider
For something like this ... Code:
<p class="ct">ONE<br/><br/><i>Story Begins</i><br/> Monday</p> Action Type = Modify Tag Name = p Attribute = class Value= ct Change Tag to: H1, or H2, etc. ... to end with ... Code:
<h1>ONE<br/><br/><i>Story Begins</i><br/> Monday</h1> I could probably come up with a RE, but your PI is so much easier to use Thanks for considering |

Non-nestable tags are fairly trivial to modify with normal search and replace tools. My main goal was to provide something for those areas where regex couldn't be trusted--the tags that got me in trouble when replacing/changing/deleting.
I'll keep it in mind, but I'm not really interested in creating something where any tag can be changed to any other tag. That would likely get me back in trouble again. Find: <p class="ct">(.*?)</p> Replace: <h2>\1</h2> Last edited by DiapDealer; 04-24-2015 at 08:47 PM. |

NP -- I ending up using a RE to move along.
It just seemed to fit nicely into the PI's structure BTW -- is "•Added ability to bypass diff generation (all tools)" an option? If so, where is it stored? Thanks again for a very useful PI |

The plugin always creates a checkpoint, so even if you skip viewing the diffs, you can still revert the changes. |

You can do this now, albeit one at a time. Just place your cursor somewhere in the middle of the paragraph and press CMD/CTR+1 (the "Change Paragraph to Heading" tool in the Tools for HTML Editors toolbar at the top of the main editor window).

@loximuthal -- thanks, but the book I was trying to clean/fix/correct/make my way had 50+ of those and I just wanted a simple TOC from Headings
I ended up using a RE; it was just that it was specific to the special class, etc that was used |

Hi DiapDealer,
Your plugin is great, except that it is changing in just the current file, not all of the files. What am I doing wrong? Keith |

If you've added the plugin to your Toolbar you should see a small down-arrow to the right of the icon. 'Edit current file only' is an option in there - uncheck it.

Thanks Jackie. That certainly does the trick.
