Klar, der war als "mittelgroßes Modell" normal im Einsatz.

Aber wieso "Oldtimer"?

Ich habe hier gerade den Vorgänger der Mighty/Magic Mouse in meinem Haushalt, einen lbook V3 (= Jinke/Hanlin V3) mit alternativer Firmware, spaßeshalber mal ans Kabel gelegt.

Wier nennst Du den denn? "Methusalix"? Der ist von 2007.

Der Akku ist natürlich lange hin, aber mit Strom vom Kabel sehe ich, dass sonst noch alles ok ist. Und da Hanlin damals hinter aufschraubbarer Klappe wechselbare Nokia-Akkus verbaut hat, für die es weiterhin Nachschub gibt, kostet mich Ersatz keine 5 EUR.

Nur einige Tasten sind die Beschriftung los, da müsste ich nachdekorieren.

Hm, ich glaube, den Spaß mache ich mir.
