Impressions are a funny thing. You got all that from a single post where as I got the idea that someone is probably pretty new to forum boards in general and simply didn't look around enough first.

My impression of your post is that of an extremely anal, pompous and grumpy old man who takes things far too seriously and likes to belittle other people in "public" on forum boards for fun.

That of course may all be wrong but that's the impression I got.
