Just a quick update for anyone who is following this thread... I've been in contact with tech support, and they're helping me troubleshoot and get this taken care of. I will post another update once everything is completely taken care of... but I gotta say, Astak is an awesome company!

Ok, so I've been in touch with Tech Support. My main concern with the power button not working was not being able to update firmware. Other than that, powering off is not a big deal to me, and I don't use screen lock all that often. Elliott was very helpful, and walked me through changing the firmware without the power button. Since I know I will be able to update firmware whenever new releases come out, I am content keeping my Pocket Pro, rather than sending it back. And they are going to send me a new case to replace the one that was broken when it arrived. I am very pleased with the way Astak has taken care of this.
