Teuer? Hat sich da was im Preis getan? 14,95$ hört sich so teuer nicht an. Ich experimentiere gerade mit der Trial rum. Und so schlecht, sieht das gar nicht mal aus, was da raus kommt.
In dem lua-Script, was da dahinter steckt, ist auf jeden Fall einiges an Hirnschmalz drin. Edit: habe gerade gesehen - Mitte 2009 hat das Teil 99$ gekostet. OK, da hat sich was getan im Preis. Und eine Trial für 5 Umwandlungen gibt es jetzt auch. Last edited by ThR; 07-15-2010 at 07:22 AM. |

Ich kenne nur eine vernünftige Methode, um aus einer PDF-Datei eine ePub-Datei zu machen. Die PDF-Datei mit dem OCR-Programm Finereader laden und dann als RTF-Datei speichern, das geht nahezu fehlerfrei. Diese RTF-Datei dann mit einem Textverarbeitungsprogramm in eine HTML-Datei verwandeln und dabei Titel und Kapitelüberschriften den entsprechenden HTML-Absatzformatierungen zuordnen.
Diese HTML-Datei schließlich mit Sigil öffnen und damit den Feinschliff machen. Dann als ePup-Datei speichern. Die meiste Arbeit übernimmt dabei der Finereader und das macht er sehr gut. Man kann auch anschließend die RTF-Datei mit Calibre konvertieren, aber dabei hat man dann mehr Fehler, als bei dem beschriebenen Umweg über HTML. |

Stanza funktioniert auch als 1 Klick Lösung. Die Ergebnisse sind jedoch recht unterschiedlich.

Ich kopiere den puren Text heraus und speichere das dann als ultrasauberes Html, nachdem ich Seitenzahlen, Trennungszeichen und dergleichen herausgefiltert habe. Dann stelle ich die Formatierungen wieder her (geht meist automatisch) Dauert etwa 10 Minuten pro PDF. Dann speichere ich das Ganze per Sigil als ePub.

Mh, muss nicht erfolgreich sein.
Ich habe schon mehrere PDFs erlebt, die den letzten Buchstaben eines Absatzes "verschlucken" beim rauskopieren. Formatierung und alles wurde übernommen. Nur dieser eine Buchstabe nicht. Und bei längeren Texten summiert sich das. Hab auch nie herausgefunden, woran das lag. |

So lange brauche ich allein (mindestens), um alle Bindestriche zu kontrollieren, nachdem ich die weichen Trennzeichen entfernt habe.
