Ok, it does start some command line for interactive checking. Well - not much of debugger. I understnad that for author it is easy to contribute into this system - even without real debugger. For novice, without knowledge where thisgs are, with low experience in Python programming, it is not worth to try.
Sorry guys, I'm giving up.

I remember that in previous versions there was a way to "swap out" components within the application with your changes. Kovid will know more about it and if it still/how it works. It would be an easier route to go.
