BTW, just in case I need this trick next time, how to uninstall a cab? I used a program called Cab Installer to install it but it has no uninstallation function...

WOWWWWWWWWWWWW,
So weird, it is connected!! I didn't re-install the Chinese version. The only things I tried is using capital letters a few times and another keyboard program (not the ones in CE). But honestly, I forgot what letters or which keyboard I used when it was connected....I had tried capital letters but no success. May I didn't wait long enough? I am not sure about the keyboard either because it didn't connect right after I put in the password. I left the device alone, thinking to give up. After 20 mins, I activated the device, it was connected...

Anyway, good news. I am not going to touch the password any more!!!!

Now it is the bluetooth. Is your bluetooth working, Nation.A.List?
I'm pleased to here you say its working but I dont understand how typing random keys, possibly in CAPS, can get you a valid password Your password should be set-up on your router by your PC and only that should work I will post separately regarding the bluetooth.

Hi Louis. Copy the cab file to your SD card, then whilst running WinCE, double-click OR right click + open the cab file and it will automatically do its magic.

Ok I think i'm starting to understand this.

One question (for now anyway), is it possible to flash my smartq 7 to only run CE. Or do I have to do the duel boot thing all the time.

As of yet I don't think anybody has made a flashable firmware file for WinCE so it's still multi-boot only for now. I believe houndx was trying to find a way to make it auto choose WinCE as a compromise, but I haven't heard that he succeeded yet.

I'm sorry to jump in here - but I'm getting really confused about how to prepare and set up the SD card for Wince - this would be for the smartq 5.

I understand I need the image files, a licence file on a FAT32 card. So can someone explain the SDupdate program? How is it used?

Also can wince be installed along with Ver 5 of the linux os?

Links seems to be dead, could some one re-upload this?

Edit: not needed anymore, there's an English CE available for the SmartQ V5
