LOL ok Moe, can't wait to see what happens when P.J. Lyons gets hold of it. For the record, I loved your Jo Moriss interpretation, and I know from talking to other authors that once a character gets started, that's it for your control.
I'm not a writer. I read incessantly, and I can come up with ideas for books, stories, etc. but actually writing them I can't do. No idea why. I can write blog posts, I can write emails telling people what I've been doing, and I can write prefaces for things. But every time I sit down to write a story, I freeze. EDIT: By the way, that cover is GORGEOUS!! |

May I reccomend these three books that will un-freeze you when you sit down to write. Dorothea Brande - Becoming a Writer (I'm in the process of working out a way to make this freely available as an ebook) Zen in the Art of Writing - Ray Bradbury (only availalbe as pbook as far as I know) Techniques of the Selling Writer - Dwight V Swain (only pbook) One of these gives you the joy of writing, another gives you the courage, the third gives you the structure you'll need. After that you 'just add words' |

Got it, read it, liked it. Not too spooky. Zelda, it is more the kind of scary like when you are driving alone at night and keep peeking in the rear view mirror to see if the monster is back there. Not so much gore and guts, although there is some of that.

Aaah, I wondered why Paul John Lyon was posting stories by Jo Moriss on Feedbooks. Now I know. When is Sergio Twirlie Moustache going to publish something?

Sergio Twirly Mustache is working on his biography at the moment - Tying Damsels to the Tracks (My life in the villain business). Only he's not got too far what with the price of mustache wax going up and there being a recession on damsels at the moment.
